I left my home of Burlington, NC in 2007 vowing that I’d never return (doesn’t everyone say that?) to study nutrition at Appalachian State. Seven years later, after finishing my Master's in nutrition and year-long dietetic internship, I found myself back in Burlington.
In 2014, I started my first “grown-up” job in an outpatient clinic working with bariatric surgery patients. Over the years, my practice has evolved toward a weight-neutral, intuitive eating model. I really enjoy developing trusting relationships with my clients. Seeing my clients’ lives change for the better has been the most rewarding experience.
I currently live in Mebane, NC with my husband, rescue pup, and a flock of chickens. This is the part where I’m supposed to say my passions are training for marathons, crafting gourmet meals, and traveling the world. The truth is, I really enjoy being at home, “piddling” around the house and listening to Podcasts.
